Contextual Advertising

Contextual advertising is a form of targeted advertising where advertisements are selected and served by automated systems based on the content of the webpage a user is viewing. For example, ads for cooking equipment might appear on a recipe site. This technique is used to display more relevant ads to the user, based on the assumption that visitors to a webpage will be interested in products related to the content they are consuming. Contextual advertising can be more effective than random ad placement because it aligns with the user's current interests, potentially increasing the likelihood of engagement.
