Subdomain

A subdomain is an additional part of your main website domain. It's a prefix that appears before the primary domain name and DNS (Domain Name System) hierarchy. Subdomains function as separate websites from the main domain and can be used to organize or separate content that is distinct from the main site. Common examples include blog.example.com or shop.example.com. They are useful for separating different areas of a website, such as a company blog or an online store, without needing to register a new domain name.
